Mug Shot

What's one foe every superhero dreads facing? You guessed it, THIRST!

Well now concerned citizens of Gotham need not worry about the Dark Knight keeling over from lack of fluids, not when he has drink equipment this perfect to replenish his strength from...

The Batman Figure Mug

Produced in 1997, a figural mug of Batman from the 'Batman & Robin' film.

It is supposed to look like George Clooney however, this is rather subjective.

Apparently sold by Warner Bros though Miss Chaos has yet to find an original point of sale...

The Robin Figure Mug

And where would Batman be without his Robin?

Also produced in 1997 by Warner Bros is a lovely mug of Robin's mug modelled on the wonderfully pretty Chris O'Donnell.

What superhero would turn there nose up at sipping juice from the heads of Batman and Robin?

The Joker Mug

It's black. It's a mug. It has Jack Nicholson's Joker printed on it in various places. There is no picture on t'interwebs so Miss Chaos will have to take one later!! Mission Accepted!

The Joker Coaster

And where would all the not-so-thirsty superheroes be without a coaster to leave their emptied glasses upon?

That's where the Joker Coaster comes in handy - one more mat for Batman, one less coffee ring for man kind.

If Miss Chaos were in charge, coffee mug rings would be criminal, punishable by eternal washing-up duty.

Underworld Unleashed

Underworld Unleashed was a multi-title cross-ver event released in 1995. The core storyline featured in a three part Underworld Unleashed mini-series, while there were also four one-shots issued. At the same time most of the DC titles published in November and December 1995 produced a tie-in issue, identified by the Underworld Unleashed tag on the cover.

The main theme of the series involved a new ruler of hell, a demon named Neron. He offered many of the DC Universe villains, and several of its superheroes, their greatest desire in return for their soul or for completing a task for him.

Underworld Unleashed is only one of a very small amount of DC Comics major crossovers that does not directly involve Superman - he is currently off-planet as part of another story arc. This fact was important the the Underworld Unleashed storyline, as the superheroes featured are driven by the belief that Superman is integral to Neron's plans.

World's Finest Comics - Starring Superman and Batman

The first issue of 'World's Finest Comics' was published under the indicia World's Best Comics however this changed from issue #2 onwards, likely due to a cease and desist order from Better Publications, Inc who had been producing a comic by the name of Best Comics since 1939. The main premise of the series was to be a Batman - Superman team-up series. From issue #71 onwards, due to a fall in Superhero popularity, the comic was shortened leaving only enough page room for one story thus leading to Superman and Batman appearing side-by-side in the same strip. During its run, the title varied from quarterly to monthly publication.

The series ran from Spring 1941 until January 1986 and consisted of 323 issues.

A Stitch In Time

Peering in to the brown envelope, Miss Chaos thinks that it might be time to brush of the knitting needles and revisit a few Grandma-taught lessons.

Her reason for this? Something wonderful has arrived.

A 1989 Patons Double Knittings Pattern. But not just any pattern, oh no.

A super amazing Batman Logo Jumper Pattern, for children AND adults!

It's spawning! Miss Chaos now lends a home to TWO 1989 Pattons Patterns... which is technically three as the new one makes two different jumpers! Keep snug Gotham.

And the story continues... as Miss Chaos has since found out that there are many more patterns to be made! She will not sleep until Gotham is wrapped up safe and warm in knitted goodness.
